John F. Kennedy, then a senator from Massachusetts, was campaigning across the country for the 1960 Democratic nomination for president. Campaigning with him was his wife, Jacqueline. They are greeted by VP Richard Nixon at Chicago Midway airport. The three of them were on the same plane on arrival at Midway. June 19, 1959. Image from 4x5 inch negative.
