Description
Sunrise at Zabriskie Point in Death Valley, CA. Five million years of erosion in these badlands formed these ridges and convolutions. The contrast of color and early morning light accentuate this dramatic landscape in one of the hottest, driest places on Earth.
Photographed high res with Canon 5Ds at 50mp.
“We broiled in Death Valley National Park at 120 degrees." Ken Burns, documentarian.

An amazing capture, Martin! It boggles the mind to think of the age of these badlands; this is a view of Mars on planet Earth!;))
